The Process

The first question you should ask when dealing with a private lender is “what is the source of your funds?”  If the answer is anything other than “our own capital” the conversation should end right there.

Endeavor’s capital has been privately funded, readily available for deployment and never arranged through intermediaries who hold themselves out to be actual commercial lenders. At Endeavor Capital, all of our financings are underwritten, structured and funded within our company.

Custom Lending

Endeavor Capital is a “unique requirements” lender where every loan represents a special situation. Although we welcome opportunities that come with sophisticated power point business plan presentations and exceptionally well-defined exit strategies, we are usually quite comfortable in simply discussing the loan request and gaining an understanding of the experience of the borrower and the strength of the collateral backing the loan. And although we are lenders and not equity participants in most transactions, we consider ourselves your partner in assisting you in successfully executing your plan.

Time is of the Essence

In most cases, we will make our decision within a few days of beginning the underwriting. If we decide to proceed, we will issue you a commitment letter which will outline the terms of the transaction. And so from first introductions to loan closing the entire process should not take more than 10-15 business days. Our objective is not to burden the borrower with requesting information that is not relevant to the successful execution of the loan but to allow the borrower the flexibility to manage the project.
